Most Mathematics & Computing programmes across institutions are offered primarily by Mathematics departments, resulting in a curriculum that is heavily math-oriented. In contrast, the Mathematics & Computing programme at IISc is genuinely interdisciplinary, blending mathematics and computer science with exceptional flexibility.
